Welcome to the new Campbell family blog. I thought it would be a good way to keep in touch with family and friends better. The boys are busy with school and basketball these days. Connor is now in 4th grade and just had his 10th birthday Feb.3rd. He likes school but has more homework than he would like. Alex is in 1st grade and having a great year. He loves his teacher and friends.
Connor and Alex will be playing flag football starting the middle of March. They are both looking forward to it. Football is thier favorite sport. They also love to ski. We went skiing last month. They both really got the hang of it this time. They loved skiing through the trees (I didn't and it wasn't pretty!) I have a feeling I will not be able to keep up with them much longer. Alex would really like to try snowboarding next year. Connor wants to stick with skiing.
Mark is doing pretty good. He has good days and not so good days. Today he's having one of his not so good days. He is very tired but for the most part he has been feeling good. He completed his radiation treatments Dec.19th. The radiation affected his taste buds and salivary glands. He had a really hard time eating for awhile and lost quite a bit of weight. He still has a hard time chewing because of the nerve damage during the surgery to remove the tumor, but he's doing a lot better. He lost all the hair on one side of his face and doesn't have to shave on the one side. I think it's starting to come back. Also lost some hair in the back but not very noticable. Thank you all for your phone calls and concern for Mark. I will try to keep this up to date as we go along......
